Product overview:

Mild steel is carbon steel with a carbon content of less than 0.25%. Because of its low strength, low hardness and softness, it is also called mild steel. It includes most ordinary carbon structural steel and some high-quality carbon structural steel, most of which are used for engineering structural parts without heat treatment, and some are used for mechanical parts that require wear resistance after carburizing and other heat treatment.

Product use and advantages:

Mild steel has limited use due to its lower strength. Appropriately increasing the manganese content in carbon steel and adding trace amounts of vanadium, titanium, niobium and other alloying elements can greatly improve the strength of the steel. If the carbon content in the steel is reduced and a small amount of aluminum, a small amount of boron and carbide-forming elements are added, the ultra-low carbon bainite group can be obtained with high strength and good ductility and toughness. We are a professional low carbon steel manufacturer and low carbon steel factory that can supply you with high quality low carbon steel products, please contact us for any size, grade or specification you may require.

Introduction

We Offer Specific Solutions
For Each Client

We are a source manufacturer of professional steel wire, we also have our own international trade department, we produce and sell by ourselves. We not only brought in 10 sets of spheroidizing annealing furnaces, dozens of metal wiredrawing equipments and twoworld's leading automatic phosphating pickling lines, but also engaged senior engineers as consultants fromTaiwan. The raw material that we use are supplied by the well known suppliers such as Bao Steel Co., Ltd and Xingtai lron & Steel Corp., Ltd. Also, the domestic lron & Steel manufacturers can be nominated by our customers. We mainly produce steel wire made of alloy steel, bearing steel, free-cutting steel, high-quality carbon structural steel, low-alloy high-strength structural steel and other materials as raw materials. The annual output is 360,000 tons. It is one of the largest finished wire production bases in Ningbo. We serve all kinds of fasteners, special-shaped parts, automotive fasteners, wind power, petroleum and other fields. Ningbo SunRise is able to meet the high quality requirements of our customers throughout the whole operation process from raw materials to finished products.

Properties of Low-Carbon Steel
Low-carbon steel has a number of notable properties that make it a popular material in various industries. Firstly, it is highly ductile, meaning that it can be easily stretched and bent without breaking. This makes it an ideal material for the manufacturing of wire, pipes, and other products that require a high degree of flexibility.
Secondly, low-carbon steel has good weldability. This means that it can be easily joined with other materials through welding or brazing, which is essential for many manufacturing processes.
Lastly, low-carbon steel is known for its high machinability. This means that it can be easily shaped and cut into different shapes and sizes, making it an ideal material for the production of a wide range of products.
Applications of Low-Carbon Steel
Low-carbon steel is used in a variety of applications across different industries. In the automotive industry, low-carbon steel is used to manufacture components such as car doors, hoods, and trunk lids. Its high ductility makes it an ideal material for these applications, as it can easily be shaped into the desired form.
In the construction industry, low-carbon steel is used to manufacture reinforcing bars for concrete structures. Its high strength and ductility make it an ideal material for this application, as it can withstand high levels of stress and strain without breaking.
In the manufacturing industry, low-carbon steel is used to manufacture a wide range of products, including screws, nuts, bolts, and other fasteners. Its high machinability makes it easy to shape and cut into different sizes, making it an ideal material for these applications.
